Writer, Editor, Web Producer

For a decade, I produced The 6Sight Report, an imaging industry magazine with news, interviews, and analysis. I wrote and edited most of the content, produced the magazine with Adobe InDesign, and distributed it online.

At that time I also wrote for PMA Magazine, Digital Imaging Reporter, and other publications.

Online media sites I have produced content for include PMA Newsline, Mylio’s photography blog, Sierra Vacation Home Rentals, my own Top Tech site, BabyNames.com, and others, all at which I also formatted graphics and published the content.

In my first decade as a professional journalist, I was a writer and editor for many top technology publications — starting as a reporter at InfoWorld, and working my way up to editor-in-chief of MacHome Magazine.

Podcast Producer

For many years I conducted interviews for the Imaging Executive podcast and DIMAcast. I edited the audio, added intro and outro music, and uploaded the weekly podcasts for distribution.

Conference Speaker and Organizer

I produced the Future Imaging Summit for the Association of Imaging Executives and the Photography Marketing Association, at which I organized and moderated panel discussions as well as delivering my own presentations. Before that show, I had managed the speaker program for the 6Sight Conference, moderated the panels, and prepared and delivered technical presentations. I also spoke at CES, and presented or participated in panels at MIT’s Computational Photography conference, Lyra, I3A, and the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Photographer and Photo Editor

I have taken thousands of photos for Sierra Vacation Home Rentals, shooting home interiors and exteriors, enhancing the images in Lightroom, organizing and labeling all shots, and uploading them to multiple listing services.

Consultant

At consulting firm Future Image, I specialized in digital photography, consumer cameras, web photo sharing, user-generated content, location-aware imaging, and photofinishing. I consulted with many top companies in the imaging industry including HP, Kodak, Sony, Canon, Corel, and Adobe.

I also consulted with entrepreneurs and investors through the Gerson Lehrman Group.

I'm now writing Fiction.
My first work is a series of paranormal suspense novels.
The first book will be written before the end of Summer 2019.
